Abdominoplasty
(Tummy Tuck)
Procedure
Abdominoplasty will enhance the body by making the abdomen firmer, by
removing excess fat and skin and tightening muscles of abdominal wall. Incision
lines will fade over time but will always be visible. Though the incisions
can be placed in locations concealed by bathing suits and undergarments. A
horizontal incision is placed just above the pubic area. Then to tighten the
abdominal wall, your surgeon will bring loose tissue and muscle together with
sutures (stitches). The abdominal skin is then pulled downward, and the
excess skin is removed. Then a small new opening will be made to bring your
navel through.
Length of Procedure
The procedure usually last 3 to 4 hours.

This procedure is usually done under general anesthesia though can be done

You may be able to return to work usually between 2 to 4 weeks. More
